CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center Completes Full Triennial Accreditation in 2017
CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is proud to announce the successful completion of its triennial accreditation from The Joint Commission (TJC). On October 4, 2016, five members of TJC team visited our hospital for three days of detailed, extensive, and comprehensive examination of our clinical and environment of care.
Seoul Medical Group Health Fair
Relationships with our patients and community and fellow healthcare providers are an important aspect of how we provide care at CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. With our guiding mission to provide quality care with compassion and respect to all, we recently teamed with Seoul Medical Group to host a free health fair to the Korean community.
Korean American Women's Association - Recognition Event
For more than 30 years, the Korean American Women’s Association (KAWA) has been a special part of the CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center family, especially in the lives of our newest members. A group of dedicated volunteers has been sewing baby blankets and gowns for each baby born at the hospital. This loving tradition has been carried out twice a month, every month, by the many KAWA members at the hospital.
HPMC's Grateful Patient Story
"For nearly 20 years, 66-year-old Ramiro Coyt struggled with an undiagnosed heart condition, which greatly diminished his quality of life. He was hospitalized in May 2015 with congestive heart failure, the result of leaky heart valves. On May 28, Ramiro was transferred from a small Los Angeles-area hospital to Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC), where he would undergo surgery to replace both his aortic and mitral valves."
