Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center Kicks Off Heart Disease Education and Community Screening Program

Los Angeles (January 26, 2009) - We believe the more you know about heart and vascular disease, the better prepared you are to prevent it.

Employees are invited to join us at the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC) and the American Heart Association Heart of Your Community Celebration.

Where: HPMC Lawn (in front of the hospital)

When: February 3rd at 12 p.m. (noon)

Why: HPMC will officially launch its partnership with the American Heart Association (AHA) in educating the public about heart and vascular disease. HPMC will announce a schedule for employee and community screenings and explain the educational initiative during this kick off event. This alliance positions HPMC and Hollywood Heart and Vascular to be the authority in cardiovascular education and diagnostic care.

A heart healthy lunch will be served while live music plays. Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is a proud local sponsor of the Heart of Your Community in Los Angeles.
