Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center has a 20-bed Emergency Department that offers adult and pediatric emergency services. As a Level II Base Station, Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is equipped to treat minor as well as major medical illness. In addition to treating regular medical emergencies we offer specialized Industrial/Occupational health services 24 hours per day.

The Emergency Department staff understands that speed is essential in an emergency. That's why the department has a dedicated laboratory technician to help expedite laboratory services. For patients seeking emergency medical care, the department offers filmless Radiology services directly in the Emergency Department. Additional services, such as ultrasound services, CT scans, and MRI’s, are available next door in the adjoining Radiology Department.

The staff provides compassionate care to every patient who comes to the Emergency Department seeking medical attention, based on a medical priority assigned to each patient. Staff members value every one that seeks care with Hollywood Presbyterian and will do everything possible to make each patient's visit, and wait time, as brief as possible.
