Patients whose health is compromised and/or those diagnosed with such conditions as diabetes, circulatory problems and rheumatoid arthritis sometimes experience wounds that don’t heal. Since such wounds can lead to additional medical problems, Hollywood Presbyterian Medial Center provides wound care services designed to assist the body in the healing process.

Wound care services at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center are available to acute care hospital inpatients. Our multi-disciplinary team of specially trained wound and ostomy care physicians and nurses create treatment programs tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

A sampling of wounds for which hospital inpatients may be treated includes:

• Diabetic Foot Ulcers
• Pressure Ulcers
• Surgical Wounds
• Burns
• Wounds caused by infections, and more.

Hollywood Presbyterian also provides wound care services at Chalet, a hospital facility adjacent to the medical center that provides transitional and long term care.
