Recognized as the Healthcare Provider of the Year for serving all economic sectors and culturally diverse group of patients

LOS ANGELES—October 19, 2018—CHA-Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (CHA-HPMC), a subsidiary of CHA Health Systems (a global leader in bio-technology and healthcare), was recognized as the Healthcare Provider of the Year for serving the Southern California communities, by the Asian Business League at its 34th Annual Awards, held on October 17.

“We are one of the oldest hospitals in Los Angeles,” said Robert Allen, CHA-HPMC president and chief executive officer. “We were the first hospital in the Hollywood area and considered as the ‘safety net’ hospital — which enables us to take care of all economic sectors and culturally diverse group of patients. To provide more space for care, we embarked on a $400 million master campus expansion plan this year. We’re on a continual mission to create innovative quality programs with renowned specialists to better serve our patients and be the provider-of-choice in the Los Angeles community.”

Award recipients were selected on the basis of their dedication to driving quality care and innovations to their local communities. This year’s Asian Business League Award took place on October 17 in Los Angeles. Asian Business League is one the most recognized non-profit organizations dedicated to educating and fostering the next generation of professionals with their informative conferences.
